The company’s newest creation is free of traditional preservatives such as parabens, isothiazolinones and formaldehyde donors. The effective blend of multifunctional ingredients can easily create self-preserving formulations and concurrently has chelating and skin conditioning properties, according to Cosphatec. With a broad spectrum of antimicrobial activity, it can efficiently inhibit bacteria, yeast and molds. Additionally, formulators can create sensitive facial applications where low irritation is required such as emulsions, face masks, shampoo and body wash.
